Biography

My primary research interests lie in the mechanisms underlying visual spatial attention and working memory, using a combination of behavioral and non-invasive imaging techniques such as EEG. My recent work has focused on attentional biases to COVID-related stimui and working memory.

With the innovative use oftechnology, I have also been the only academic on the Middlesex UniversityMauritius campus to have my supervisees use programming software to designpsychological experiments. One of the greatest satisfactions that I have iswhen learners, who shy away from classes like research methods, actually performexceptionally well in those same demanding classes.
