Current Teaching

I currently work part-time. I am a Module Leader for a Year 2 module titled Developing Scientific Principles For Adult Nurses. In this role my leadership skills are used to support and guide team members in delivering high standards of teaching in an organised and supportive environment. I also work in supporting our colleagues in Guernsey in the delvery of this module. I am also teaching in modules in the Year 1 on the pre-registration programe. I support students in the Open University as an academic advisory role.


Biography

I am a senior lecturer in adult nursing at Middlesex University. I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and currently working to achieve Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I have an MSc in Professional Practice and a Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education. I was involved in the teaching team support learning for the NCL vaccination programme. I have appromimately ten years of teaching experience working within the University. Prior to my role as an academic I worked as a Matron and Ward Manager within a surgical departement  of a leading London trust.
