Biography

Dr Sean Maloney is a strength and conditioning coach andlecturer based in Milton Keynes, England. He started his own coaching business,Maloney Performance, back in 2011 following an internship with the EnglishInstitute of Sport. 

Currently, Sean leads S&C support for MK Breakersbasketball club and MK Badminton Academy, with private work predominantlyfocused on the development of youth athletes. Sean teaches on the MSc Strength& Conditioning Course at Middlesex University, as well as for theUniversity of Bedfordshire and the Professional Golfers’ Association. 

Hecompleted his PhD in 2016 which investigated the effects of stiffness andasymmetries on change of direction performance. 

Sean currently competes inmasters’ weightlifting and sprinting, as well as being a lapsed powerlifter.
